I met Stuart several years ago and he is more handsome and charming in person than as his character Alan. He has a wonderful sense of humor and it was a thrill to meet the Prince of Port Charles!

In the late seventies, I attended a Soap Festival in my hometown, New York City. It was only for ABC soaps. I attended ones for OLTL and GH. Of all the stars who gave autographs, My favorite was Stuart Damon. Please remember at this time Alan Quartermaine was a jealous, paranoic and sometimes violent husband who tried to kill Rick and Monica. He was very good looking but not at all funny. Well, I was totally and pleasantly surprised when I met Alan's portrayer in person. Not only was he even more handsome in person, but he was down to earth, good humored and thoroughly engaging. There were many stars there that day and some did not live up to their "nice guy" images. They were rushed and impatient with questions and signing autographs. Stuart was truly "Prince Charming". I still have the memento booklet from that day. So many of the people who signed that day either went on to primetime (Like Richard Dean Anderson who later became McGyver) or completely dropped off the face of the earth. But Alan Quartermaine (and Stuart) soldiered on. Today Alan is a more stable character and Stuart's humor has been incorporated into his persona. Recently, I read that Stuart is raising his daughter's child as his own because she was too young for the responsibility. I have no doubt in my mind that the Stuart I met in the late sevenities has not changed but just grown better. He is a nice, modest, and truly down to earth person.

Stuart Damon is an excellent actor. The first time I saw him was as Prince Charming to Leslie-Ann Warren's Cinderella. One of the funniest scenes I have seen Stuart in was at his wedding to Lucy Coe. She was dressed in red and looked like she belonged in a bordello. Stuart Damon, in all the years as a character on GH has always been an interesting and well loved character. I watched Stuart Damon mature and grow as an actor and he is one of my favorites.

I have always thought the he was an excellent actor and i just hope when they get into the real truth of the matter about his addiction they show that this happen because he just couldn't take it anymore, with Jason's accident and loss of identity and Monica's affair, Emily and AJ addictions and all the ELQ business and his riviary with Tracy and his love hate relationship with Edward there was bound to be some kind of breakdown. And when they put him back together he still has his family.

I was in love with Stuart Damon when I was small due to his role in Cinderella. I enjoyed watching him as Alan during the Alan/Monica/Rick story and when AJ was born. He is such a wonderful part of GH.

Have loved him since the powder blue turtleneck days. They just don't make characters like Alan, or allow actors like Damon to have the fun that he had. When Alan was a homicidal maniac, he was the best. He has been kicking serious butt in this addiction storyline. His performance in this story is clearly Emmy material.

About five years ago my husband and I were able to watch the actors from GH do their rehursing or "Blocking" as they call it. We were able to do this because I knew Leslie Charleson's secretary. Anyway, Stuart Damon was one of the actors working that day. I remember that he was soooooo nice, warm and funny. While we were unable to talk to the actors (they were working), Stuart Damon made every effort to make us feel comfortable. He smiled at us and said hello. He seems like a very nice man. My all time favorite scene that he was in was when he found out that Ned had slept with Monica. He grabbed Ned and rammed his head on the sofa or desk (I don't remember) but it was pretty funny.

Stuart is awesome. He can put so much into a look or even a simple turn of his shoulders. I've been watching GH for a long, long, time and I never get tired of Stuart.

Big Stu Damon? the man is tall and still this day one sexy gorgeous man! That hair, that height that smile! Why Monica would want Rick when she had that??????

I admit that I have a soft spot for Stuart Damon. Have ever since those powder blue turtleneck days.

I would be ashamed to put that J&B mess in the same show with Stuart Damon. It was like mixing Shakespeare with Sesame Street.

I was lucky enough to meet Stuart at last year's brunch with the Quartermaine's hosted by Leslie C. at the LA Equestrian Center. He is VERY tall, more handsome in person and the sweetest. He did show his sense of humor when making introductions of the other cast members. It was unfortunate that not everyone there had a chance to meet him. My photo with Stuart is a PRIZED possession.

Well I'm not exactly the "star struck" type, but when I met Stuart Damon, my knees were shaking. He said "hello my darling" and then proceeded to kiss my hand..... Let's just say I was hesitant to wash my hand that night ... He is absolutely striking in person and has a killer smile!

My favorite topic the Prince, unfortunately I’ve never met the Prince., I think he's a great actor and seen him play Alan from the start. Alan has really changed over the years. He's mellowed alot and much more comical but he's always been compassionate and he's always loved Monica. Dorman would never of survived the Alan of twenty years ago. That I would have like to have seen. But I've never tired of watching him.

I've loved him since he came on the show. I have also gotten really aggravated at his character a bunch of times. He is so gorgeous and has been ever since he started on the show. I agree with lots of other fans who say he's gotten better with age. He and Leslie have an incredible chemistry that none of the younger actors on the show can begin to touch. They both are the greatest! I can't imagine one without the other at all.
